Wife Swapping

Swinging is the practice of trading partners for better sexual experiences. Previously, this practice was known as “wife swapping” but was now called swing since a lot of years. Many people consider the practice of swapping to be very controversial and debatable and is often discussed and despised by People who do not really understand the lifestyle, principles and reasons why people choose to do so. To a certain person, swapping is a way of being promiscuous while still married. Regardless of the opinion people, swaying has been around for some time now and the history of swinging is very interesting. Although it is not clear exactly when this practice began, many believe that swinging has been practiced since ancient times. However, the United States has begun swinging in full force in the 1950s. According to various sources, the practice began in the U.S. Air Force as pilots and their wives decided to begin the try. Pilots in the Air Force became very close to each other and often take care of each other families like theirs. It was not uncommon for pilots who went to work on morning would never return home. Other drivers often took care of each other families and many times then formed a close relationship with their wives too. Because of the conservative society back time, the placement of advertisements newspaper was the only way to meet other swingers. It was not until 1957 that the newspapers and the media became aware of this new phenomenon and has been given the term “wife swapping”. In the 1960s, in Berkeley the first swingers association had been established to inform and educate people about the lifestyle of the wife swapping. This organization was called Sexual Freedom League, and has gained much popularity at the time. Today the situation is different, there are many web sites, clubs and organizations where information about the swinging lifestyle is available. People have accepted this practice and more couples are now ready to get started. There have been many studies or research on swingers and practice of swinging for many different reasons, but according to a study by a member of ABC News, more than four million swingers exist today . More than half of them said they were happier in their marriages after they are posted to this lifestyle. Although having extra marital relationship may pose several threats to a marriage to swing the advantage is that both partners are aware of their actions and it further strengthens the link between couples in most cases. Swinging is not for everyone but, swingers would be really open minded and it must be clear in their communications with their partners. If there is enough honesty and trust between partners, swinging can work for them. Over the years, hovering was tried by millions of couples worldwide. Even if it did not work for some, it proved to be a blessing for many.
