Is anyone watching wife swap right now, with the supposedly cultured yet extremely rude family?
So I’m watching wife swap right now and i cannot believe how this man is acting. I’m not sure if they said he was French or English, but i think French. He is totally degrading this woman. I mean she’s obviously not the most educated person in the world, but i just can’t believe how rude he’s being to her. Anyone feel the same?

plane ticket! i feel sorry for their kids, having to

They need to move to another country where pompous a**h***s like them should live. What a jerk. Obviously America is beneath them. I wonder how many service people who sacrifice for the freedom of this country feel about her and her response on how she was born here by chance feel. Poor kids. Who cares if the midwest family uses small words – at least they love their country and deserve to live here! God Bless America!

WOW! I just saw it. He can make fun peoples life styles, but how can any American disrespect its soldiers and country. I don’t understand how a person like that can even live and be happy. If he scared to be around dumb people he needs to look at his wife. How could a nice looking woman like that even talk to a disrespectful jerk like him. She must be a dumb ***. Whats sad is I bet there are thousands more like him. He acts like he the most smartest person on the face of the earth. And the worst thing is I feel bad for his kids. There growing up to be just like him. His IQ is 185! That’s bull. I think he is the craziest whack job in America. Charles Manson is nothing compared to this guy. What a NUT!

This man obliviously has many many insecurity issues. I would suspect that he was #uggered senseless at some boarding school in the UK. Rather than berate him I want to say well done to Gayla, she handled herself with dignity and grace throughout this awful ordeal!

The man is English, and clearly not interested in being an American, though he married one and chose to live here.
I was appalled at how rudely he treated her. Real intelligence isn’t someone who needs to put another person down for being less educated. Intelligence is measured in many ways. Also, I question the truth of any statement from a person who feels the need to air his test scores repeatedly. I’d wager that he didn’t do as smashingly on the GREs as he thinks he did. Even if he did, with a personality like that I don’t see him going far in any venture that doesn’t involve people he can bully (his wife, children, and other people’s wives).
That woman may have been fairly uneducated and lacking in certain knowledge, but I think it’s quite clear that we’d all rather spend a little time in her company than his.
And SHAME on him for passing that behavior on to his children.

He’s obviously a control freak. As soon as his control was taken away, he flipped out! I don’t understand why two such unhappy people don’t move away. Because our country is such a great place to live…not perfect, but still the greatest opportunities are here.
He has CHOSEN to live HERE! What a hypocrite; speaking so poorly of our citizens and country, when he’s picked our country to live in, and become a citizen of. I’d like to see him find somewhere else where he can make such a great living.
What a pig. The only good thing to come out of this is that everyone that knows him or meets him will know what kind of person he truly is.

he looks like he died 15 years ago..his face is sunken in and i hate how he thinks hes better than everyone else and better than America,he is a sad little man who has nothing better to do then put down people i feel sorry for his family and if he hates this country so much then why live here?…if its such a bad place then why are millions of people trying to to gain residency.I hope people see him in the street and put him in his place..and if he is sooo highly educated..why are they living in a plain house?..he has some harsh karma going towards him..and whats his wife doing jumping around and sending energy? lmao!!..he needs a big mac and she needs a dildo!

I never write on these forums but this guy made me so disgusted I had to chime in. As a San Francisco resident myself I was repulsed by his immature and degrading behavior, way to represent our city a**hole. I can only hope that this whole thing was staged. Because if he is a real person living in this city he should be ashamed to show his face in public. Please know he does not represent the mentality of this city, he is just your typical self righteous, over educated, douche bag. And his poor kids, totally brainwashed and controlled just like his wife. I hope his wife divorces him and his kids stop talking to him.
I’d go paint balling any day with that other family, this guy I’d like to see sent back to his motherland.

He was so obnoxious, it hurt. My husband and I were watching in awe. I don’t think he was that intelligent. People who are truly intelligent don’t have anything to prove. I have a good friend who did undergrad and grad work at MIT and now teaches at Harvard, and he NEVER needs to tell people that he is intelligent. I also have very good friends from England who would be astounded by his rudeness. He was a mess.
I think this guy was very insecure. I fell sorry for his children who probably live with his belittling ways everyday and who had to take part in treating that woman that way.

I was horrified while watching this….a high IQ does not give you the right to treat everyone else like dirt. I felt so bad for that lady- it made me embarrassed that there are jerks like this in this country. Go back to England, please.

Often people with a high IQ have no common sense; Stephen proves that point in this episode. I was embarrassed and angered viewing his display of utter rudeness toward Gayla. It broke my heart to see someone treated with such hatred just because they were different. Stephen taught me that prejudice and intolerance are still being practiced and I find that sad, especially by an “intellect”.

I was so disgusted by him! He claimed that he was so healthy and smart. I thought he looked like a wrinkled up weakling and he obviously wasn’t smart enough to hide what a vile person he truly is! I could not even imagine being in the same room as this monster. To be married to such a tragic excuse for a human being must be absolute torture! I felt nauseous while he abused his new wife. Intelligence and a good diet certainly don’t make up for all that he lacks. He was cruel, humorless and condescending. He completely lacked humility, kindness, and compassion. He is a very small, evil man.

I was disgusted at his behavior. He did everything he could to make Gayla feel small and unwelcome in his home. I had to give her credit because she showed so much class by putting up with him and not lashing out, even though he deserved it.
And getting his kids to ignore her, is one of the lowest and most despicable things I have ever seen. How dare he teach his children that Gayla didn’t deserve their respect.
